Who this is for

For OEMs & brands

Evidence for pattern and assortment decisions

When you have two or more candidate patterns for woods, fields, marsh, or late-season terrain, opinion and mood boards are not enough. A paid CGX evaluation puts human observers in front of controlled scenes and returns structured evidence for product, materials, and line-planning reviews.

  • Compare patterns under defined viewing conditions
  • Support SKU and assortment calls with observer data
  • Scope, method, and deliverable agreed before work starts

For investors & partners

A data moat around how people see camouflage

CGX is building a perception-measurement business: a documented human-observer method, patented IP, and a commercial path through hunting and outdoor OEMs. Early stage. Claim-safe. No invented traction.

  • Method and IP as the durable asset
  • OEM pilots and co-studies as go-to-market
  • Hunting / outdoor / commercial camouflage focus

How an evaluation works

Three steps. Clear deliverables.

  1. Scope

You define the patterns, target scenes (woods, fields, waterfowl habitat, big-game terrain), and the product question. We agree viewing conditions and what the written summary will cover.

  2. Observe

Paid human observers judge how well each pattern hides — or stays conspicuous — against the agreed backgrounds. Responses are collected under a documented, patented method.

  3. Decide

You receive a written summary that states what was measured, under what conditions, and where the limits are. Use it for the product call you already have to make.

Measurement vs. opinion

Camouflage for hunting apparel and outdoor gear lives or dies in context: the same print can disappear in green cover and stand out on dry ground. CGX treats that as a measurement problem — human observers, defined scenes, evidence you can cite in a review — not a branding slogan.
